Ross Blondin attended Cardinal Newman High School in his hometown of Santa Rosa, California. He earned the title of Co-MVP with a .514 batting average.
He began at Grossmont College in the San Diego area in 2006. Red shirted his first year, he then won the batting title as a freshman with a .394 average, just one hit shy of a .400 average for the year. In his sophomore year, Blondin collected titles as 1st Team All Pacific Coast Conference and 2nd Team All Southern California with a .358 batting average and 8 home runs.
Ross was recruited to join the Chaparrals at Lubbock Christian University in 2009 and played with the NAIA National Championship team with a 52-8 winning record. He was named a 1st Team All American with a .438 batting average, 25 homeruns and 99 RBIs.
In the summer, Ross played for the Matsau Minors in Palmer, Alaska helping to drive them to the Alaska Baseball League Title. During his 2010 senior season, the team won the SAC Title and he made it back to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. Blondin was recognized again,being named 1st Team All Conference with a .356 batting average and 10 home runs.
The summer of 2010 brought him to the Military All Stars with a spot on the Red White and Blue Tour. The team travelled across the east coast, playing against both collegiate leagues and independent leagues.
Currently, Ross Blondin travels throughout Texas and also plays Worlds in Vegas and Florida with a handful of competitive softball teams.
